Cores
Cores are an item obtained through multiple avenues, including battles, chests and the rarely spawned Core titan.
When used, Cores add a permanent bonus on your perks. Currently, it is capped at 1000 cores until God Tier is reached in which the cap is lifted.
After God Tier, there is a soft cap of 5000 cores of each kind outside Astral Plane. At Astral Plane, there is no core cap post GT.
With the Kari bobbleheads, the core cap is increased to 1249 pre GT and 5249 soft cap outside Astral Plane post GT.
To see the amount of cores you've added to your bonus. Go to Gear and look at the parenthesis under your perk totals (in landscape mode if on mobile).
